BUILD. LAUNCH. WHERE STEM TAKES FLIGHT.

Golden Gate Rocket Labs began in 2022 from my passion for designing, building, and launching rockets.

After three years competing in the American Rocketry Challenge, including the 2025 National Finals, I am continuing my journey as an Aerospace Engineering student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

What began with my first student rocket grew into three years of designing, building, testing, and competing in the American Rocketry Challenge.

Along the way, I learned from failed launches, improved through engineering iteration, earned high-power rocketry certifications, and reached the 2025 ARC National Finals.

Hi! I’m Andrew Truong, an Aerospace Engineering student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with interests in rocketry, engineering, and STEM education.

My experiences in competitive and high-power rocketry helped turn an early interest in aerospace into the field I’m now pursuing in college.
