Golden Gate Rocket Labs is a student-led nonprofit and rocketry club founded by Andrew Truong in 2023 during his freshman year at Quarry Lane School in Dublin, CA. With a deep passion for aerospace since young, Andrew started this organization to inspire students to design, build, and launch rockets while gaining hands-on experience in STEM.
Our team is dedicated to advancing rocketry education by engaging students in real-world engineering challenges. In 2023, we formed a team to compete in the American Rocketry Challenge (ARC), the nation’s largest student rocketry competition. Through collaboration, innovation, and persistence, we aim to push the boundaries of student-led aerospace engineering and expand access to rocketry education.
At Golden Gate Rocket Labs, we believe that curiosity fuels innovation. Whether it's launching high-powered rockets or mentoring young students, our goal is to inspire the next generation of aerospace pioneers and bring the excitement of rocketry to our school and beyond.
🚀 Join us as we design, build, and launch the future of aerospace!
